I find happiness in creativity. Over the years, I have channeled my energy towards different opportunities to display my creativity. Elby is an outlet for my creative expression. Elby has allowed me to channel positive energy into design.
As a little girl, I was exposed to fashion at a young age. My grandmother is the ultimate fashionista. She had what I always called a “Hannah Montana closet.” Her closet was filled with all kinds of adventure, memories and spunk. My grandmother always taught me to not be afraid to wear something different; wear what truly speaks to you.
My parents are both entrepreneurs in the apparel industry. My father started his own business and I have always admired his drive and independence. I am very fortunate to have my parents as my biggest supporters. As I have come up with many different creative ideas, they have been nothing but supportive. They have been my biggest cheerleaders and support system on this journey.
Elby is an opportunity to pour my passion for creativity and fashion into. It is a chance to be independent and free in a creative aspect. Most importantly it is something that makes me want to jump out of bed in the morning.
As I always knew I was passionate about fashion and apparel, I was never sure what my place was in the industry. Elby is my special place. I spent my time in college studying Marketing and Communication closely. I was involved in campus event planning, social media management, photography and videography. Each and every one of these experiences has helped me grow Elby.
I want to merge fashion and sleepwear to make pajamas powerful. I am only getting started.
